Psg 290 necroscia annulipes
Caresheet:
Country of origin: Malaysia
Food:lilac, privet, olive, osmanthus, jasmine and members of the laurel family( Laurus nobilis,...)
Temperature: room temperature or a little warmer is perfect(18-20°c)
Humidity+Equipement:a terrarium of 30*30*30 cm is good for two couples, you can also use an upright posed fauna box. You will need a bigger terrarium if you have more animals. It's best that the terrarium has two ventilation strips, the animals need to be kept humid, certainly when they are nymphs(70-80% airhumidity, spray a bit every day in the terrarium and on the soil). You will also need a soft material where the females can put their eggs, such as a container with earth or an aquariumsponge. Keep this wet, because otherwise the female will not be able to lay her eggs.
Sex determination: males are the smaller and thinner version of the females. The females become 8.5-9 cm. and the males 6.5-7 cm.
Breeding: sexual
Incubation period:the eggs hatch sometimes after 4 months, but mostly it takes 5 months or more for the first nymphs to appear.
Number of molts:6 times for the females, 5 times for the males.
Lifespan (nymph):the animals are adult after 5-6 months.
Lifespan (adult): females live approximately a half year after their last moult, the males die sooner.
breeding speed: the female produce a hundred eggs, but they don't hatch very easily. Few nymphs die and after the first moults it's a very easy species.
Special behaviour: When you disturb them, these animals can fly away. Males and females can fly very well. They can also separate a smelly substance, so wash your hands after you hold them!
Special outer characteristics: this is a really beautifully colored species with magnificent wings. The leggs are yellow this black striped and the body is green/yellow.

Difficulty: 4, when you keep enough eggs and you take care of them very well(especially when they are young) it isn't a difficult species. (1=Very easy, 10=Only for experts.)
