Starting with the breeding of leaf and stick insects.
1) The consideration
The best is that you first read very well what you need to take care of this insects. And then see if you have time and place to breed this special animals.
2) The terrarium
You can keep stick insects and leafs best in a terrarium, flexarium or faunabox. If you think about breeding them, you have to see first that you have a cage that is big enough. The rule is that the height of your cage must be at least 3 times the lengt of the stick insect(without leggs) and the with 2 times. That's because otherwise the insects can't moult and die.
3) The soil
4) Incubating the eggs
5) Air humidity
You can create a high air humidity by using a plant sprayer (where no chemicals have been in) to spray in the terrarium and keep the ground wet. Some species like to be kept humid like PSG 18, Heteropteryx dilatata. Some other species really don't like wet areas like PSG 193 Tropidoderus childrenii.
6) Temperature
7) Food
8) Defense techniques
